The successful candidate will be part of our EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) application development team who are involved in projects across the region and Brazil.

Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities:
Based in Sitel office in Lisbon, the role will support applications developed in several programming languages, primarily languages in the Microsoft .Net framework, as well as supporting 3rd party software including Altitude (CTI, scripting, dialer solution), Callscripter (scripting language) and RightNow (CRM tool).
Serves as an escalation point for the support team on assigned application solutions and ensures that issues escalated are resolved in due time.
Must ensure that all software applications are fully tested and documented in order to minimize business risk.
Will provide user technical assistance (after escalation) in order that he/she is able to fulfill his/her job adequately.
Involved in creating and supporting solutions for our Portuguese and Spanish operations (candidate must be comfortable in speaking Portuguese, Spanish and English).

Education:
• Bachelor degree in related fields or equivalent

Experience Target:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Portuguese as a native speaker;
• Strong English and Spanish knowledge (the role will also support Sitel Spain)
• Knowledge of programming languages, eg. .Net, C, C#, Visual Basic, Delphi, Pascal, HTML, ASP, XML, PHP, web programming and Oracle PLSQL
• Ability to install, configure, maintain and manage the above software is required
• Knowledge of Database access, preferably Oracle or SQL
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio)
• Database Design
• Database Development (Oracle, MS-SQL)
• Knowledge of CTI Middleware (Altitude, Genesys, Vocalcom) is desired
• General knowledge of Telecom switches is desirable
• General knowledge about call centers operations is desirable
• Client minded (internal and external) and Open minded towards new developments and tools
• Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately, to minimize interruption to operations
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff
